Synopsis:
When beloved King Theodore and Queen Reyna of the kingdom of Amoria mysteriously disappear, the whole kingdom sets out to find them. No one thinks Marie and her best friends — a diverse group with a wide range of differing abilities — will be of much help. Knowing their challenges also come with unique strengths, Marie’s group confidently embarks on a bold quest that draws them deeper and deeper into a perilous maze, to save the kingdom.

Tessa Smigla lives in the Los Angeles area with her family. Ms. Smigla wrote the book Heroes of the Maze, featuring people of all abilities as the heroes, so that everyone could have heroic role models to inspire them. The book’s characters use their differences and skills to save the day. Ms. Smigla hopes that everyone who reads the book will feel inspired by its story, and realize that each and every one of us has special value.
